Passing of Master Pearson

We remember Master Pearson for his countless accomplishments, his time served in the military, for his immeasurable contribution to the Martial Arts world, and his ability as a genuine person.  He has completed feats in the world of Martial Arts; and is respected beyond measure.  Master Samuel Pearson (sadly) passed away this week prior to 10:00 am on April 9th..  Keep his family in your prayers.  The visitation will be on Friday, April 11th from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Pollock Funeral Home in New Bern NC.  All tokens to be given to Ms. Pearson during this time.

Newest promotions and congratulations

Our newest brown belt, Mr. Brian Whitehurst, achieved his status on December 8th 2013.  He displayed mastery of kata/forms, jitsu, knowledge of language and history, and kumite.  Check the photos section to view all who attended and the events for the day.

The New Bern Bushido School of Martial Arts is located in Downtown New Bern, North Carolina.  Our school stems directly from the New Bern School of Martial Arts; founded by Master Sam Pearson.    We have been in New Bern for decades and are know for upholding high standards with regards to Martial Arts.
